With Tech Handyman, we’ll travel to you and fix your phone or tablet on the spot. Our mobile phone repairs normally take 30 minutes or less, but depending on the mobile phone model and the extent of damage, some repairs might take 45 minutes while others take just 15 minutes. iPad Repairs may take up to one hour depending on the extent of damage. Simply enter the details of the phone or iPad that needs repair, and indicate what problem(s) you are having with the device. You’ll receive an instant online price, which includes parts and labour. Worried about call out charges? We don’t charge them. The price you see online is the price you pay. Once we receive your repair booking, your allocated technician will call you to arrange a convenient date and time for your repair.

You can also make a booking by contacting us via telephone. Our friendly customer service team are on hand 7 days a week from 11am to 10pm (NZST) to assist you.

Need to cancel your booking? Please contact your assigned technician to let them know you no longer wish to go ahead with the repair. You can find your technician’s contact details at the bottom of the confirmation e-mail we sent you. If you are having trouble locating these details, please contact us, and we will assist you with cancelling the repair.

Nowhere! Tech Handyman is a repair service with a difference – you can carry on doing the things you love while our Tech Handyman technician comes to you and repairs your device on the spot. Our “Come To You” repair service is available for iPhone, iPad and Samsung Galaxy and A Series model repairs.

In most cases the answer is a resounding yes! Over 85% of our repairs are completed on the same day we receive your booking, so if you’d like your mobile phone repair or iPad repair done same-day, we will do our level best to make this happen.

If your booking is received late in the day, we may not always be able to reach you the same-day.

If your repair is urgent, and your allocated technician is not able to schedule your repair same-day, you can ask your technician or our Customer Service team to see if there is an alternative repairer in your area that can reach you sooner.

Payment is made after your repair is completed via credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX) or cash. For card payments, payment is made directly to the Tech Handyman technician via our safe and secure mobile Eft-pos machine. Our no-fix no-fee policy means you’ll only be charged if we fix your device, and the price you see on our website is the price you pay – no call-out fees and no hidden extra costs!

Data loss during the repair process is an extremely rare event, but nevertheless we suggest making a backup to safe guard against any potential data loss event.

Tech Handyman therefore recommends that you take steps to ensure that a full and complete backup of your device is made prior to your repair booking.

Please note that Tech Handyman can not be held liable in the event of any data loss on your device as either a direct or indirect result of the repair process on your device.

Most phone repairers offer pretty limited warranty periods on their repairs, which means if things go wrong down the line with your phone, you’re left high and dry.  In fact, most repair stores (including Apple themselves) will only offer you a three month warranty on your repairs.

Our booking form is designed for booking single devices only. If you have multiple devices to repair you can either (a) book a single device via our booking form, and then discuss the other devices with your assigned technician when they call, (b) you can submit multiple bookings or (c) you can contact us via telephone and we can assist you with your booking. Our friendly customer service team are on hand 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm (NZST) to assist you.
